Plot:
_ Shinmen Takezo mang định mệnh trở thành Thánh Kiếm Miyamoto Musashi - có thể nói đây là samurai mạnh nhất mọi thời đại. Nhưng hiện tại, Takezo lại là 1 sát thủ máu lạnh, người sẵn sàng đấu với bất kì ai chỉ để có tiếng. Đây là câu chuyện về cuộc hành trình của 1 thanh niên trẻ tuổi, tàn nhẫn, người cố đạt đến tột đỉnh kiếm thuật = chính thanh kiếm của mình.
_ Series này là 1 câu chuyện sử thi do Takehiko Inoue-sensei - tác giả của Slam Dunk nổi tiếng - chuyển thể từ tiểu thuyết cùng tên của Eiji Yoshikawa về cuộc đời của samurai, kiếm thánh Miyamoto Musashi (1584 - 1645)

1 chút suy nghĩ riêng của Shaoran: Nếu có ai đó viết 1 manga dựa vào cuộc đời của Quanh Trung hoàng đế hay Hưng Đạo Vương Trần Quốc Tuấn như Inoue-sensei thì sao nhỉ?

Doraemon hay Skip Beat đều do bên mangaupdates xếp hạng. Skip Beat tui chưa đọc, nhưng Doraemon rõ là comedy còn gì? Về GTO thì có lẽ như ông nói. Vì cả Wikipedia cũng xếp nó vào ecchi mà.

Loại comedy thì hình như có cái gì sai khi kết luận Doraemon thuộc loại này...nhớ là Doraemon được xếp vào Kodomo,loại truyện dành cho mọi lứa tuổi,nhẹ nhàng,từng truyện nhỏ nhỏ y như Maruko Chibi,Shin...
Comedy thì đáng ra có nhiều hơn,như Hayate no Gotoku,GTO,Ramna Half...

Thể loại film/truyện về samurai, cả live action lẫn anime, đều có 1 chỗ đứng hết sức đặc biệt trong lòng hầu hết người dân Nhật Bản. Bạn có thể xem như đây là 1 biểu hiện của lòng tự tôn dân tộc - đôi khi có phần thái quá - của họ. Theo thống kê, mỗi năm ở Nhật, mỗi đài truyền hình đều có ít nhất 1 bộ phim về samurai. Vagabond lại là 1 series về samurai huyền thoại, người được xem là đệ nhất kiếm khách mạnh nhất mọi thời đại, đương nhiên càng chiếm vị trí quan trọng hơn nữa đối với otaku Nhật

Cũng còn phải xem cường điệu ở mức độ nào đã. Nếu cường điệu nhưng ko làm mất đi những chi tiết có thật về cuộc đời người đó, người lại còn bổ sung thêm cho chi tiết đó thì ai dám bắt ông? Cắt xén bậy bạ mất gốc người ta thì bắt là phải đạo rồi.

Ah,phải rồi...Nhật ngoài tinh thần rất tôn trọng lòng tự hào dân tộc,còn muốn nêu cao nền giáo dục....lý do vì sao bộ GTO xếp thứ hạng cao trong hầu hết thời điểm mà nó xuất hiện,bộ đó phản ảnh tình trạng học và có cường điệu về 1 thầy giáo cũng như trong quá trình dạy học của Onizuka luôn gặp những loại học sinh,giáo viên rất "quái"...tuy nhiên nó lại là bộ truyện rất được hoan nghênh dù tình trạng bạo lực,tình dục xảy ra trong bộ truyện như cơm bữa...đó là 1 nét suy nghĩ thoáng rất hay của người Nhật ...chứ thử hỏi VN có ai đó vik được 1 bộ truyện giống vậy coi,chắc chắn nó bị mí đứa nhà báo tẩy chay...ví như Yugi-oh,Jindo,Crayon Shinchan....nói thiệt mấy bộ đó tui chả bik tại sao lại không cho xuất bản
